Hi there. I'm Angel.

I'm an Associate Licensed Counselor.

I completed my master’s degree in 2016 in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently enrolled

in a PhD program in Marriage and Family Therapy.

 

I enjoy reading the current research on mental health

and using new techniques to integrate into my sessions.

One of my goals as a therapist is to offer clients a safe place to express their concerns, thoughts, and feelings without feeling judged.

I want them to feel heard and understood.

 

Because each client has their own unique experiences,

I try to find the therapy approach that best fits the individual’s situation.

I most often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.

I strive to help the client reach their goals through therapy sessions

and homework that will empower

them to eliminate or manage their symptoms on their own.
